TrendForce forecasts a global downturn in AR and VR device shipments for 2023, predicting a shipment total of roughly 7.45 million units—an 18.2% YoY decrease.
According to TrendForce’s latest report “Trends and Challenges in Development of AI Applications as Seen from AI Generated Content (AIGC)”, this new wave of interest is expected to bring benefits to the participants across the supply chain for GPUs and AI chips. These participants include NVIDIA, TSMC, Unimicron, AIChip, etc.
According to TrendForce’s latest research, global sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) rose by 63.6% YoY to 10.65 million units for 2022. Of this total, sales of battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) comprised 7.89 million units and registered a YoY growth rate of 68.7%.
According to TrendForce’s analysis, global car sales dipped by 0.1% YoY to 81.05 million vehicle units for 2022, showing almost no change from the 2021 figure. However, there is a chance for the global car market to return to positive growth this year. TrendForce currently projects that global car sales will increase by 3.8% YoY to 84.1 million vehicle units for 2023.
According to TrendForce’s research, the scale of the global market for military unmanned aerial vehicles (military UAVs, also known as military drones)will expand at a CAGR of 27.6% during the 2022~2025 period, from US$16.5 billion to US$34.3 billion.
